I was just 22 and Richard, Big Bruce and I decided to visit the Fairmont Theatre in East Haven CT, still open today as an X rated theatre. We walked up, our apartment was just around the corner and discovered a line going in to the movie house. As the line lessened we could see that someone was behind a table signing photos and YES it was Marilyn Chambers. OMG we were like little kids.

She was dressed in a buckskin outfit that showed EVERYTHING!! As I walked up to the table she smiled and asked me my name.

I told her Mike and as you can see on the photo it says, Mikey, he loved it! With Love and kisses Marilyn Chambers. As a former Ivory Snow girl, I think she appreciated the irony of paraphrasing the famous commercial about Life cereal. Needless to say I have kept this photo for over 40 years.

Its like new except for unfortunatley some smuding over the Love and Kisses part. She's gone now, but no one is more iconic in the porn past as Marilyn Chambers, this is a piece of history that transcends porn, her era in porn was indicative of the times, the early 70's and all that it represented.
