Yankees Babe Ruth 1926 Type 1 Authentic Autographed Signed Photo-jsa Loa

Authentic signed photo of baseball legend Babe Ruth from 1926 here. Original sepia photograph of The Bambino measures 7.5 x 9.5 and shows him on the links during the prime of his baseball career, 1926. The image was inscribed and signed by him in November of that year in a black fountain pen.

The dedication reads: "To my friend Jim Boldt, From "Babe Ruth... A portion of the writing and autograph is weaker than the rest, but presents well in-person. The impression from the point of the pen on the surface of the photo is very pronounced. All of the writing was done in the hand of Babe Ruth. The condition of the photo is Very Good , with only a small amount of surface wear.

It was previously mounted and framed at some point, with slightly irregular edges to the backing. The photo itself is really nice. I don't know how his golf game fared in 1926, but that year Babe Ruth led all of baseball in runs, home runs, RBIs, walks, on base %, slugging % and OPS.
